Are you looking for a stationary reading device for the tachograph data of your fleet? The VDO SmartTerminal is the optimal solution for reading and archiving driver and vehicle data. This practical terminal of the latest generation can be conveniently mounted and thus serves as a central point of contact for your fleet.

All 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation driver, workshop and company cards can be read using the VDO SmartTerminal. What's more, it is DTCO 4.1-ready, as the SmartTerminal has been specially developed for the requirements of the new smart tachograph. The VDO SmartTerminal supports you in meeting all legal requirements for downloading and archiving tachograph data according to the EU Mobility Package I. With an internal memory of 32 GB, the terminal has almost unlimited capacity. The stored data can be transferred conveniently to a PC via a network (LAN/WiFi) or USB. You also have the option of uploading the data directly to the VDO Fleet Cloud for use with the archiving service in VDO Fleet Tachograph Management*, or saving it to an SFTP server and archiving it.

An exciting additional feature: the VDO SmartTerminal also supports you in checking driving licenses. Thanks to the integrated RFID Card Reader, all you need to do is hold the driver's license with its personalized RFID Tag up to the terminal. The system stores the information securely, and it can then be viewed and evaluated for all drivers in the additional VDO Fleet Tachograph Management* service. With the help of the integrated USB ports in the SmartTerminal, the VDO Download Keys can also be read out via the stationary terminal and transferred directly to the backend.
